Artists in Residence exhibit at Dawson Creek Art Gallery 2020

this work explores my relationship to the landscape in which I reside in a conceptual way.

inspirations include the map of my area, topographical features, and metaphorical meandering through the land.

I wish to express the notion that each one of us is personally responsible for the environment and climate change and that our choices can be made one at a time just like hand stitching requires a choice for each stitch. We can choose to look forward with optimism.
